Staying in touch after each assignment

Has your situation evolved in some way? Make sure you update your profile in the Managers Portal. The Talent Consultants in our Managers Division are your main contacts at Valtus, and they are always available for you.

Their top three priorities are: guiding our interim managers, bringing them together and building loyalty. With this in mind, they regularly organize thematic breakfast meetings to discuss the profession, best practices, functions, important news and its consequences. They also lead live and web conferences as well as online discussion groups via social media.

Every year, the Trophées du Manager de Transition de l’année (Valtus Interim Manager Awards) bring together some 500 leaders and executives to recognize the most outstanding professionals, who have demonstrated exemplary approaches to interim management, remarkable expertise and noteworthy personalities. This event shines the spotlight on the best in our business and increases the notoriety of this profession in France.

Your Valtus assignment

Your Valtus assignment

Your initial diagnostic report

During the first 10 days of your assignment, you will analyze the situation and pinpoint your client’s obstacles. Then you will recommend a detailed action plan indicating which projects are the top priorities, what results you expect to achieve, and the timeline needed to complete all the step. This will be the roadmap for your assignment.

Implementing your action plan

Once your plan has been approved, you will implement it, guided by your Valtus Partner throughout the operational phase. You will present regular progress reports to the client, in keeping with your forecasted timeline and deliverables.

Your final recommendations

You will complete your assignment with a final report, itemizing the results achieved, the areas to keep an eye on, and recommended next steps. This document will ensure a smooth transition of the leadership over to our client’s teams, and enable them to pursue the work you initiated.

When the assignment is over

What next? Make sure you update your profile in the Managers Portal, and keep it up to date at all times with your latest skills and specific expertise as well as the dates when you will be available to take on new assignments. This will improve your chances of being selected when the right options arise.
